We're starting to talk about SciBarCamp2 (planned for either late this year or for spring next year), but before we get too far into it we want to know what worked best at SciBarCamp in March.  Any and all comments would be great and we'll take every one into account.

But we're especially interested to know what has happened for you because of SciBarCamp.  New business contacts or opportunities?  New research projects? New artistic collaborations?  New directions in your work or education?  If
you could write us a short note about your stories (what happened and how it came about), that will really help us in planning next year's event.

Let us know if we can quote you or if you'd prefer not.  You can either send your comments to Jen Dodd or add your stories to this page.  If you'd like to create your own account, please go ahead and click on the "register" link on the left.  Alternatively, you can log in anonymously with username "Feedback" and password "scibarcamp".

Please add your stories below - and many thanks for the valuable feedback!

Jamie McQuay (Scimatic Software) - [Disclaimer: I was one of the organizers and my company was a sponsor].  Two things resulted from SciBarCamp for me.  The first is that I used our experiences from this event to help organize BioBarCamp in Palo Alto this summer.  The second piece of news, and more exciting, is that Scimatic is bringing on a new partner that I initially met at SciBarCamp (official announcement this September).

Chris Luckhardt (motionblur studios) - [Disclaimer: I was also a sponsor].  SciBarCamp was a great learning experience for me.  Besides making several new contacts, SciBarCamp offered an introduction into the workings of the BarCamp scene.  It also served as a launching point for me into the Toronto tech community.  I very much look forward to SciBarCamp2!
